Summer Bounty

It's the middle of August, and I finally made it to our local farmer's market.  Corn and zucchini from just down the road to go along with peaches our daughter picked up at another farmer's market.  And that prize tomato?  It's from my very own plant!  Looks like there's some fresh and healthy eating in my future.

  5. Those veggies look delicious! I can't seem to find any good zucchini around here and I love it so much. I looks like I should check out our local farmer's markets.

  6. This picture is stunning! - It could easily make it to "Gourmet" magazine or some other foodie publication. I think your tomato makes the picture :-)

  15. I love the look of all this produce but especially your very own tomato. I was in my greengrocers today and for a tomato like that they're charging $14/kg (about $14/2.25 pounds). Ridiculous xx
