Fairy Lights

The winter wonderland is now indoors.  We are finally looking a teeny bit like Christmas inside our house.  Today my daughter and I brought the white lights look that we have outside to the inside.  I've always like tulle and lights as an easy way to get a little sparkle around windows.  Here are her windows outlined in white lights (white wires, too) and white tulle.  Subtle, yet lovely.

  6. Thanks all! The stained glass windows came from a great antiques store in Belvidere, Illinois called Funderberg Antiques. They specialize in stained glass and really cool European antiques. I think they make buying trips to Europe at least once a year.

  7. In response to your comment on the lovely food pictures I posted...I am NO cook. I bake from time to time and that's about the extent of it. I will, however, coax my boyfriend to lend the recipes accompanying future photos. He's the real cook around here. I once started a fire trying to make a bowl of cereal...
